  • Click here for our online application. This will help us determine how we can begin helping you.

There are conditions that apply, not every contractor is able to access this program and final approval is subject to underwriting. Please be as descriptive as you can regarding the question on "a description of your operations".

Nothing on this site is intended to provide insurance coverage. The actual terms and conditions of your policy are in the actual policy language. Uninsured sub contractors are not covered unless there is a line item on the policy for that class of business.

Claim Examples:

Bodily Injury: A General Contractor hired a masonry contractor to build a retaining wall around the front of a newly constructed dwelling. While building the wall, a pedestrian stepped on a stone that was to be used in the wall and broke his ankle. He incurred $7500 of medical expense. The masonry contractor's policy paid $7500 for negligence and the General Contractor's policy paid $5000 for failing to provide a safe workplace.

Property Damage: A General Contractor hired a roofing contractor to re-roof an office building. When the roofer had the roof removed, a thunderstorm occurred that caused $15,000 damage to a tenant's property. The subtracted roofer had general liability coverage that expired two days earlier and it was not renewed. The General Contractor's policy was the forced to respond in the amount of $15,000.

Roofers and Plumbers can be two of the most difficult sub contractors, for GC's, to find coverage for. One of the other insurance carriers in the GC marketplace today excludes these two classes of uninsured subs. Many times the GC does not know this until it's to late.
