Jim Lawrence, CIC

For more than 20 years, Jim has devoted a great deal of time helping business owners understand the best possible way to handle risk. Jim is a founding partner of Alliance Insurance Services and has served as President since its inception in 1986. Jim has a passion for business and works as a partner with businesses assisting them in achieving greater success.
Jim is also a featured lecturer on agency management and various insurance topics throughout the United States and Puerto Rico for the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research which trains agents for the prestigious Certified Insurance Counselor (C.I.C.) certification.
Jim was born and raised in Texas. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Texas Tech University. He and his wife have two daughters and are very active in their church community.

Brian W. Bingham, CIC, Risk Management

Brian is one of the managing partners of Alliance Insurance Services and has worked in the Commercial Insurance industry almost 20 years. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), a licensed Risk Manager and a licensed Life and Health Agent. Brian is currently working on finishing his CSRM (Certified School Risk Manager) designation.
In 1988, Brian took over his father's 40-year old agency and merged with what is now Alliance Insurance Services. Since that time, Brian has specialized in commercial property and casualty insurance with his focus concentrated on medium to large businesses.
Brian is the current President Elect of LifeLine Shelter for Families, Inc. and involved with this organization for over 4 years. LifeLine is a no profit organization dedicated to assisting the homeless children within the Grand Prairie Independent School District.
Brian and his wife Sandra have a son, Bryce and a daughter Brooke. They enjoy boating, Boy Scouts, volunteering in the community and other family activities. Brian is also a member of the Grapevine Rotary Club.

Kathy Myers, Office Manager

Kathy has been with Alliance Insurance Services since it's inception in 1986. She is Office Manager and still assists Jim with some of the agency's more complex accounts. Kathy started her career in the insurance industry in 1976 with Continental Insurance Company. Her duties with that company included training and development as well as underwriting. She is also a current member of the National Association of Professional & Executive Women.
Kathy and Bill have one son, Preston. Kathy directs a small vocal ensemble and enjoys working with her church.

Becky Hanson, Account Manager

Becky has been in the insurance industry since 1985. Prior to joining Alliance Insurance Services, she worked 6 years as an associate underwriter and rating specialist in commercial lines insurance for a major insurance carrier. Becky and Brian Bingham work together as a team. She manages all of Brian's renewal accounts and new business clients to ensure they are handled with great service and professionalism. Over the years she has worked with a broad range of commercial lines clients. Becky is a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and is currently working on her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Becky was born and raised in Texas. She and her husband Robbie have two children, Mark and Monica, and a brand new grandson. Becky enjoys spending time with her family and is active in her church.

Robbi Pauley, Account Manager

Robbi joined Alliance Insurance Services in the Personal Lines area when she moved to Arlington in 2002. Since that time, she has transitioned to the Commercial Lines area and earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. She is the primary contact for the Builders Risk and Medical Imaging Programs. Robbi enjoys assisting clients in the day to day adventures of the insurance business.
Robbi began her career in the insurance industry in 1982 in Kansas City, MO with a credit life insurance company. From there, she worked for a State Farm agent for 13 years selling Personal Lines Insurance.
Married for 31 years, she and her husband are very active in their church and community, and share their home with two cats, and a bird. In her spare time, she enjoys bowling, gardening, cooking, and a variety of crafts. While she enjoys football, Robbi will take a stock car race over football any time.

Veronica F. Diaz, Account Executive

As an account executive, Veronica is committed to providing excellence in the field of Commercial Insurance to all size accounts. Veronica joined Alliance Insurance Services in 1991 with a background in Personal Lines Insurance. She has been involved in various aspects of the agency ranging from Customer Service Representative to Marketing and Sales.
Veronica has been instrumental in the growth of a program designed specifically for Veterinarians and their unique exposure. As a result, the Animal Hospital Insurance Program has become a leading provider of insurance coverage for veterinarians in the Southwest.
As long time residents of Grand Prairie, Veronica and her husband, Mitch, mentor in the community as a team and are volunteers in a Bible educational work.

Greg Ward

Since 1987, Greg has specialized in employee benefit plans such as group medical, life, disability and dental. He represents all major carriers in the group marketplace. Greg has been an associate for Alliance Insurance Services for over 14 years.
Greg served 4 years on the Dallas Association of Financial Advisors board as Director of Health and Employee Benefits. He conducts seminars on healthcare benefit legislation, i.e. the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). He is also a charter member of AHIA-Association of Health Insurance Agents and holds a BS degree in Business Administration from LA Tech University.
Greg and Roberta have been married since 1976. They have two children, Doug and Jen. They are active in church and Greg is past President of the Prestonwood Rotary Club in Dallas.

Brian Maguire

Brian specializes in all lines of life and disability insurance. He represents all major carriers in the marketplace. Brian is a career insurance agent that brings many years of experience to Alliance Insurance Services. From personal estate planning to protect business liabilities, Brian can facilitate any complex insurance need. He holds a BBA in Business Marketing from Southern Methodist University.

Tommie M. Rains, V.P. Marketing

After taking an early retirement from Agfa in 2005, Tommie joined Alliance Insurance Services in the Marketing Center to assist the Producers and the Agency in developing and implementing strategic marketing programs for business development and maintenance.
Tommie lived in Tennessee and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. degree in Marketing. He joined the U.S. Air Force in December 1969. After serving almost four years on active duty, he joined E. I. DuPont as a Technical Representative in their Photo Products Division. Tommie spent 32 years with DuPont, Sterling, and Agfa marketing Radiology related products to major medical centers and other clients in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
Tommie and his wife Polly, have three children and two wonderful grand-daughters. Tommie enjoys golf, working with his church's youth group, and acting at the Duncanville Community Theater.
